Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper shaft water-proof structure capable of enhancing mounting efficiency of a grommet to an insertion port without impairing sealing performance and appearance performance. SOLUTION: In the wiper shaft water-proof structure having the grommet 20 mounted between a wiper shaft 12 and the insertion port 2, the grommet 20 is provided with a base part 21 formed in a cylinder shape; a covering part 28 in a cylinder shape connected to the base part 21 through a folded part 27; and an engagement part 31 formed on the base part 21 and clamping a peripheral edge of the insertion port 2. A thick mounting reference part 22 and a grip part 23 formed in a thin thickness so as to clamp the mounting reference part 22 are formed on the base part 21. The grip part 23 is constituted by recessed parts 24, 24 buried in an inner peripheral surface of the base part 21. A positioning projection part 25 is provided at a position clamping the grip part 23 of the mounting reference part 22 and an annular lip 29 having a distal end slide-contacted with an outer peripheral surface of the wiper shaft 12 is projectedly provided in an inner peripheral surface of a hollow part of the covering part 28.
