PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for stripping and bending an optical fiber which can be operated stably and can obtain the favorable cut edge part of the optical fiber regardless of operator's skill, and to provide a method for stripping and bending the optical fiber. SOLUTION: The tool for stripping and bending the optical fiber comprises: a first member made of a resin material provided with a groove part capable of holding a coated optical fiber, an optical fiber cutting blade and coating removal blade which are integrally arranged in the groove, and a bending part in the middle part; and a second member made of a resin material provided with a groove part which is arranged oppositely to the first member and can accommodate the coated optical fiber and corresponds to the groove part of the first member, a coating removal blade which is integrally arranged in the groove part and corresponds to the coating removal blade of the first member, and a bending part corresponding to the bending part of the first member in the middle part.
