Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden of an operator, determine a radiographing site and direction in a relatively simple procedure and display an easily viewable image. SOLUTION: A display form of a captured image is selected, the breasts M of the subject are mounted on a radiographic stand 22, one of the right/left breasts M of the subject to be radiographed is selected with either of right/left buttons provided in an input section 7, subsequently, a radiographing section is focused to the direction of the breast M intended to radiograph, and the angle of the X-ray detector 25 is recognized to automatically recognize the radiographing direction. The X-rays are irradiated, transmitted through the breast M, and detected by the X-ray detector 25 to create corresponding image data.
