Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple analyzing method of high sensitivity constituted not only to accurately separate and analyze sugars but also to quantify them; and to provide an analyzer performed by the analyzing method. SOLUTION: The analyzing method of sugars includes: a process for separating a sample to be inspected containing sugars by liquid chromatography using a ligand replacing column; a process for adding ammonia to the separated sample to be inspected; and a process for ionizing the sample to be inspected, to which ammonia is added, by an electrospray ionization process to perform mass analysis.
