PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle electronic equipment adapter for easily adding on-vehicle electronic equipment. SOLUTION: This adapter 10 is constituted of an input part 11 provided with a main input terminal 17 connected with the pure on-vehicle electronic equipment and a dependent input terminal 18 connected with the added on-vehicle equipment, an adapter main body 12 constituted of a relay switch 15 and a control part 16, and an output part 13 provided with an output terminal 22. The control part 16 is provided with a detection circuit 19 for detecting a signal inputted in the dependent input terminal 18 side, a driving circuit 20 for driving a relay switch to switch an output signal of the input part 11 from the main input terminal side to the dependent input terminal side by the detection of the signal by the detection circuit 19, and a protective circuit 21 for interrupting a circuit between the relay switch and the output terminal 22 for prescribed time by the detection of the signal of the detection circuit 19.
