Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orifice satisfying demands for a complicated shape orifice meeting objectives of increase of spray accuracy and functionality of a fuel injection valve, and increasing demand for atomization of spray, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: A part of a downstream side inner wall of the orifice in the fuel injection valve is inclined to a center axis line side of the orifice in relation to an upstream side inner wall. Shape of spray can be arbitrarily changed by changing angles of an inclination part and a section forming the inclination part. Also, fuel flowing in the orifice is pressed against the inclination part and easily forms thin film, and spray can be atomized. The orifice can be accurately formed by combining pressing and coining. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
