Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an executing method and a structure for asphalt paving capable of making water retentivity compatible with water permeability at a cost lower than the prior art and with better efficiency. SOLUTION: The pavement is made from an asphalt mixture. Paving method is the method by which the gap in the asphalt mixture is partially filled with a water retaining material, the void communicating to the lower face and/or side face from the upper face of the pavement remains, and the material exhibiting water retaining property after hardening is partially filled and hardened such that the void remains. It is preferable that the water retaining material is the mixed material in which 3-49 pts.mass of an alkaline stimulant is added to the total 100 pts.mass of the blast furnace slug fine powder and an inorganic powder composed of 50-70 mass% of the blast furnace slug fine powder and 30-50 mass% of the inorganic powder containing not less than 50 mass% of amorphous SiO2.
