PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a prepreg capable of infiltrating a liquid resin in a fiber base material with high-degree impregnation properties, and a prepreg obtained by this prepreg manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the prepreg obtained by impregnating a long fiber base material with the liquid resin continuously has at least two processes each of which is constituted so as to impregnate the fiber base material with the liquid resin from its one side by transferring the fiber base material while bringing the same into contact with the peripheral surface, which is not immersed in the liquid resin, of the kiss roll of which the lower part is immersed in the liquid resin.
