Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee secure sealing of a wheel bearing against intrusion of all the kinds of particles and moisture and to mount a device for measuring rotary movement of the wheel bearing in the wheel bearing simply, speedily, and securely. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a signal generator 16 provided in a rotary part 12 of the wheel bearing and a sensor assembly 22 provided in a fixed part 10. The sensor assembly is provided with a holding ring 34 and a cap-shaped plastic part 32 working as a cover of the wheel bearing. The holding ring 34 for supporting the cap-shaped plastic part 32 is press-tightened with the fixed part 10 of the wheel bearing across a sealing member therebetween. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
