Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile telephone system of a mobile telephone with a built-in charge accounting function. SOLUTION: The mobile telephone system (10) comprising the mobile telephone having an ability to perform an internal charge accounting process (12) of performing a debit process in real time with respect to a charge accounting process based on a billing process parameter of a mobile telephone unit (30) operating in a complicated rate structure in a multi-zone communication network, and an accessible internal memory for storing a charge accounting process program and call data of each call, includes the charge accounting process program, a rate table which can be updated, and a billing process algorithm relating to charges for a long-distance call, an international call, a movement per day and/or per hour or minute, and the like. A charge account state of the mobile telephone is calculated in real time so as to subtract a debit account, and a mobile debit telephone has a signal for changing a charge account state of a user.
