PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for preventing fraudulent use of printed credit card information and enabling identification of a card used for payment regarding a payment slip issued, when using a credit card. SOLUTION: An information generation method for printing a payment slip includes the steps of: specifying a reference number, predetermined by a user and which corresponds to the card number, when it is determined that payment can be made by receiving payment application data, including the card number from a payment terminal; generating a card specific information for specifying the card used for the payment by the user, by changing a specified digit of the card number into a reference number; generating payment complete information, including the generated card specific information, which is used upon the printing device of the payment terminal printing the payment slip; and sending the generated payment completed information to a payment completed terminal.
