Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharging device which can remove foreign substances such as refuse or air bubbles in a liquid without making them go through the discharging nozzle of a droplet discharging head. SOLUTION: One example of an inkjet recording device is equipped with an inkjet recording head 33, a reservoir tank 64 which stores an ink liquid, a first ink line 69, and a second ink line 70. In this case, for the inkjet recording head 33, an ink chamber 72 and the discharging nozzle which communicates with the ink chamber 72 are formed, and the inkjet recording head 33 discharges ink droplets from the discharging nozzle. The first ink line 69 connects the ink chamber 72 with the reservoir tank 64, and by which the ink liquid flows from the reservoir tank 64 to the ink chamber 72 when the ink flows. The second ink line 70 connects the ink chamber 72 with the reservoir tank 64, and has a pump 74 which makes the ink liquid flow from the ink chamber 72 to the reservoir tank 64. In the reservoir tank 64, a filter section 66 which divides the reservoir tank into a downstream chamber 64L with which the first ink line 69 is connected, and an upstream chamber 64U with which the second ink line 70 is connected is provided.
