PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary napkin which is capable of efficiently absorbing menstruous blood, secure feeling of stability and easy to handle, unlike conventional ones that are insufficient in absorbing the blood or preventing the blood spread, uneconomical, and hard to handle. SOLUTION: This sanitary napkin, provided with a convex portion on the upper surface, and a sufficient length to cover from the private part of a wearer to the buttocks area, can be suitably used with the convex portion being fitted into the gap around the groin, helping to prevent the spread and leakage of the blood.
