Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED display device capable of maintaining an optimum display for a long period of time even when used under an outdoor environment. SOLUTION: The LED display device 10 is equipped with a metallic casing 13 which opens on a front side and is provided with a printed circuit board 11 arranged with a plurality of LEDs 12 on its bottom, and a transparent plate 14 which has UV resistance performance to cover the opening of the metallic casing 13. The front side surface of the printed circuit board 11 is at least provided with a translucent resin coating layer (silicon resin coating layer) 15 composed of a translucent resin having excellent weatherability so as to cover the LEDs l2. A transparent plate 14 is stuck onto the covering layer portion 15a covering the front side surface of the printed circuit board out of the silicon resin coating layer 15.
