PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device, protecting a fluid pressure sensor from a fluid pressure beyond its tolerance to prevent breakage of the fluid pressure sensor and change in input/output characteristic to cope with the trouble at low cost. SOLUTION: In this braking device, the fluid pressure input to each brake caliper of a front wheel and a rear wheel is varied depending on the control input of a brake operating part 2. The device is provided with a pressure sensor 28 for detecting the fluid pressure of a master cylinder 3 interlocking with the brake operating part 2.
