Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control a vehicle by preventing a plurality of objects existing in front of own vehicle from being integrated improperly. SOLUTION: Objects T1..., in front of own vehicle Va are detected with a radar and a plurality of objects T1 to T5 existing in a specific range, are integrated and made a target object Ta, corresponding to a large vehicle Vb. If an object T5 exists apart for 3 m or more in front from a representative position of the target object Ta, apart for 0.8 m or larger (in the direction approaching to an estimated track) to the left from the left end point of the representative position, within 50 m, in front of the own vehicle Va and in a region included in the estimated track of the own vehicle Va, then the object T5 is separated from the original object Ta as the target object Tb corresponding to a small vehicle Vc. By controlling the cruise state of the own vehicle Va, based on the target object Tb, the self-vehicle can be controlled properly with respect to the small vehicle Vc existing in the estimated track of the own vehicle Va.
