Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quality meter equipped with an input operation part and a display part on the front surface of a body, capable of preventing the occurrence of an operation error, and having excellent operability, by enabling operation of a function different corresponding to a measuring object or a measurement operator and used most frequently by a specific operation button provided on a most-easily usable place. SOLUTION: One specific operation button 4 is provided on the input operation part 2 on the front surface of the body 1, and the function of the specific operation button 4 can be selected and set by operation of the input operation part 2. An openable/closable cover 5 is provided on the front surface of the body 1, and the input operation part 2 excluding the specific operation button 4 can be covered with the cover 5. A remote operation button separated independently from the body 1 is provided as the second specific operation button 6, and can be connected with a cable or connected wirelessly to the body 1.
