Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress interference to a navigation display to the minimum while reliably broadcasting the contents of a TV program to a user when a TV channel is switched in a state where a TV function is being executed in background processing. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a switching means for switching a program to be viewed, a slave screen generating means for generating the image of the slave screen of the program when the program is switched, a slave screen display means for displaying the generated images of the slave screen so that the images are superimposed, and a display control means for releasing the slave screen if a predetermined time elapses after the slave screen is displayed.
