Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bolt and nut members made from stainless steel with high strengths and high toughness for an aircraft, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method comprises the steps of: preparing a powder γ by mixing a powder α which contains iron, chromium, nickel, molybdenum and no zirconium, with a powder β of zirconium; mechanically alloying the powder γ to prepare a powder δ; and hot-extruding the powder δ to solidify it. The powder δ contains, by mass%, 12.25% to 13.25% chromium, 7.50% to 8.50% nickel, 2.00% to 2.50% molybdenum, 0.3% to 3% zirconium and the balance iron with inevitable impurities, wherein the total amount of oxygen, carbon and nitrogen contained as the inevitable impurities is less than 20% of the mass of zirconium.
