PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that laying down a side wall to be laid down first of a folding container assembled into a box shape to the opposite side of the bottom part to form an opening part makes an operator lay down by mistake the side wall to be laid down first to the bottom part direction to damage an article stored in the container assembled into the box shape, or to damage the short side wall colliding with the article. SOLUTION: By moving upward a locking male member 5 arranged on the side wall 3 to be laid down first in the bottom part direction, the side wall 3 to be laid down first in the bottom part direction is laid down only either in the bottom part 1 direction or in the opposite direction to the bottom part 1, and by moving downward the locking male member 5 arranged on the side wall 3 to be laid down first in the bottom part 1 direction, the side wall 3 to be laid down first in the bottom part 1 direction is laid down in the opposite direction to the inclined and laying down direction.
