Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage package for piezoelectric vibrator and a piezoelectric device capable of surely and normally oscillating a piezoelectric vibrator, by effectively preventing a lower surface on a side which is not fixed to a support in particular of the piezoelectric vibrator from coming into contact with the bottom of a recess. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric storage package includes an insulated substrate 1, having the recess 2 for receiving a rectangular piezoelectric vibrator 3 on the upper surface, a support 7 formed on the bottom of the recess 2 to which one of ends of the vibrator 3 is supported and fixed, and a wiring conductor 9 formed from the support 7 to the side face or the lower surface of the substrate 1. The recess 2 is formed on a region, immediately under a side opposite to the other side of the vibrator 3 on the bottom with a groove 10 longer than the length of the former side formed in parallel with the former side. A ceramic layer 12 having a curved corner is put over from the side face on the side of the support 7 of the groove 10 to the bottom of the recess 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
