PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine room of a construction machine without requiring a large space for installing a dustproof net by preventing a foreign matter captured by the dustproof net from depositing in the engine room, while easily cleaning the dustproof net of cooling air flowing to a heat exchanger without removing the net without getting on the upper surface of the engine room. SOLUTION: This engine room has a door 20 installed to the side surface S of the engine room 10 for freely opening and closing, and a scaffold 22 for a worker arranged on the side surface S in the vicinity of the door 20. The door 20 has a ventilation port 24 of cooling air for communicating the inside and outside of the engine room 10, and the dustproof net 26 for covering the ventilation port 24.
