Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal heating member comprised of a sample holder, a rotor and a shaft and a centrifugal heating apparatus using it where durability and safety are enhanced. SOLUTION: The centrifugal heating member comprised of the rotor, the shaft and the sample holder is used for a centrifugal sintering apparatus adding a centrifugal force field and a temperature field to a formed body consisting of ceramics or metal powders or to a ceramic precursor membrane. The centrifugal heating member where the rotor and the shaft are constituted of a silicon nitride ceramic permeating micro waves or a heat-resistant alloy reflecting micro waves and where the sample holder is constituted of silicon carbide or zirconia absorbing micro waves, the centrifugal sintering apparatus using it and the sample holder are provided. Sintering under the conditions of 1,200°C and hundreds of thousands of G can be performed by the selective self-heating of the sample holder with micro waves. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
