Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of preventing defective shapes of a transparent conductive thin film and a lower layer film, and suppressing display defects. SOLUTION: The display device of this invention has a substrate with a display part, and comprises the lower layer film 1 arranged on the substrate, the transparent conductive thin film 9 which is arranged on the lower layer film 1 and electrically connected to the lower layer film 1, and a protective films 10b, 11b which are arranged on the transparent conductive film 9 of a area 35 except the display part and prevent the shapes of the transparent conductive film 9 and the lower layer film 1 from being defected.
