Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To focus a desired main object at the time of manual focusing even when a plurality of peaks of focal point information of the object are present. SOLUTION: When a focal lens is moved by an operation with a focal ring, pieces of the focal point information are calculated by every movement position of the lens and pieces of the focal point information calculated for every lens position are displayed by a graph on a display part 24 correspondingly to the lens positions. On the graph, focal point information 25 of the current lens position and other pieces of focal point information are identifiably displayed. Thus, since history of pieces of the focal point information calculated for every movement position of the lens is displayed on the graph, for example, when there are the plurality of peaks of the focal point information on the graph, the lens is moved to the lens position where a desired peak is obtained.
