Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of reading out content data quickly while suppressing the capacity of a storage having a high reading speed as much as possible. SOLUTION: The content data provisioning apparatus (facsimile) 100 comprises a low speed storage 102 for storing a plurality of content data, a high speed storage 104 having a reading speed higher than that of the low speed storage 102, and a transfer control section 108 for transferring content data from the low speed storage 102 to the high speed storage 104 depending on the transmission request record of content data from clients 202-206 and storing the content data in the high speed storage 104. The transfer control section 108 reads out relevant content data from the high speed storage 104 in response to a content data transmission request from any one of the clients 202-206.
