Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rust preventive oil composition having excellent rust preventability, capable of sufficiently preventing the generation of rust in stacked steel sheets or the like, and further having excellent degreasing properties and waste water treatability after degreasing. SOLUTION: The rust preventive oil composition contains, by the standard in the whole quantity of the composition, 20 to 70 mass% vegetable oil, and a 0.5 to 40 mass% fatty amine salt which is the salt of fatty acid and amine, and in which the total number of of carbon atoms of fatty acid and the carbon number of amine is 16 to 40.
