Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a urine sewage treatment method capable of performing the treatment of sewage using soil by a simpler constitution to certainly remove especially nitrogen or phosphorus, and an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: In the urine sewage treatment method, a large number of soil-containing bags filled with specific soil are embedded in a digging tank of which the base and side surfaces are covered with a water-impermeable sheet so as to prevent a water leak and urine sewage is charged in the digging tank from one side while discharged from the other side of the digging tank through the specific soil. The urine sewage treatment apparatus for the urine sewage treatment method is constituted by embedding a large number of the soil-containing bags filled with the specific soil in the digging tank of which the base-end water-impermeable sheet so as to prevent a water leak.
