Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a server to grasp progress information about completion of repair work just after the completion of work and detailed information such as conditions of a failure or a defect caused in equipped apparatus and contents of the repair work in repair of a kitchen and sanitary area apparatus in a house or non-house needing visiting repair. SOLUTION: In this repair work progress management system and its method, an input means configured of two steps is provided. One step is performed by a cellular phone and a portable terminal device having a function for transmitting a result of the repair work for the the kitchen and sanitary area apparatus of the house or non-house needing visiting repair to the server via a communication line from the field just when the repair work is finished, and the other step is performed by a personal computer device having a function for inputting the detailed contents after return to an office for transmitting them to the server.
