Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely separate sheets in a short time in a sheet feeding device in which the sheets are separated by applying air heated by a heater to the sheets. SOLUTION: This sheet feeding device comprises a fan 11 blowing air to the sheets stacked on a paper deck 4, the heater 14 heating the air blown by the fan 11, and a controller 16 starting to blow air by the fan 11 at a specified timing after the temperature control is started to set the heater 14 to a target temperature.
