Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof structure which can firmly adhere even to a moisture-laden substrate, and which is excellent in watertightness and the property of adhesion to a waterproof sheet. SOLUTION: In a waterproof construction method, an adhesive 2 is applied in a state wherein primer 6 is pre-applied to the substrate 1, and the waterproof sheet 3 is laid thereon. A polymer cement paste adhesive, wherein a resin emulsion is mixed into cement paste, is used as the adhesive 2; the amount of the mixing of the resin emulsion into the cement paste is set to be in a 100/20 to 100/200 range of a cement/resin-emulsion solid-content ratio, so that the watertightness and adhesion properties can be enhanced; and concrete 5 is further placed as a holding layer from above it.
