Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving accuracy and integrity of GPS. SOLUTION: This test method of integrity in GPS (global positioning system) measuring for a moving vehicle on the road comprises a step for calculating a 1st inter-vehicle distance between a 1st and a 2nd vehicles running on the road based on GPS measurements obtained on these two vehicles, a step for separately calculating 2nd inter-vehicle distance between two vehicles based on relative motion of those 1st and 2nd vehicles obtained by using an Inertial Navigation System(INS) sensor in those two vehicles, and a step for comparing the 1st inter-vehicle distance and the 2nd inter-vehicle distance to check integrity in the GPS measuring depending on whether the 1st inter-vehicle distance equals the 2nd one or not.
