Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect exhaust ink being discharged from a unit other than a maintenance unit without providing an exhaust ink containing tank separately. SOLUTION: The exhaust ink collection device 60 can entirely contain exhaust ink not contributive to recording on a recording sheet P, i.e. exhaust ink discharged from an ink mist collecting unit 20, a maintenance unit 110, an ink supply unit 70, and a main tank unit 90.
