Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately sensing overcurrent with a motor driving device in which a plurality of motor drive amplifiers are connected to a motor drive power supply. SOLUTION: Motor drive amplifiers 3a and 3b connected to a motor drive power supply 6 comprise memories 32a and 32b in which specifications are stored. In a memory 52 provided to a power supply unit 2, an overcurrent sensing value for sensing an overcurrent according to the specification of the motor drive amplifier is stored. A micro controller 51 reads the specification out of the memories 32a and 32b, and reads the overcurrent sensing value corresponding to the specification out of a memory 52 for integration. The integrated value is set at an overcurrent sensing circuit 54. A current sensor 7 outputs an overcurrent sensing signal when it senses a current that exceeds the set value. Since a reference value is set at the overcurrent sensing circuit 54 according to the number of motor drive amplifiers connected to the motor drive power supply and its specification, an overcurrent is appropriately sensed.
