Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a highly reactive uretdione group-containing polyurethane coating composition which is curable at very low temperatures and particularly suited in use for manufacturing a plastic and a highly gloss or matte powder coating layer having light stability and weatherability. SOLUTION: Since a metal hydroxide and a metal alcoholate strongly accelerate the redecomposition of the uretdione group, the curing temperature of the powder coating composition can be remarkably lowered when a uretdione group-containing powder coating curing agent is used.
