Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide superior versatility and to improve bonding strength by facilitating the application of a sinter bonding method utilizing the shrinkage of an outer member due to sintering to both the case where a bonding surface has a simple flat-plate shape and the case where a bonding surface has a recessed groove midway. SOLUTION: In the method for sinter bonding of a sintered composite body 1, an inner member 10 and the outer member 15 are fitted together and bonded by sintering. In the case where the outer member 15 is formed by sintering a compacted nearly cylindrical green compact 15A, a step 10a for relief is set each in the position of the inner member 10 corresponding to the bonding surface at each end of the green compact 15A and the inner member 10 is fitted in the cylinder of the green compact 15A, and, by the dimensional shrinkage resultant from the sintering of the green compact 15A, each end 15a side of the outer member 15 is deformed in such a way that it envelopes each edge of the step 10a of the inner member 10.
