Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire of which the bead part durability is increased by arranging a film made of a thermoplastic resin on the tire internal surface, and at the same time, arranging a rubber chafer on the bead part. SOLUTION: The film 1 made of the thermoplastic resin is arranged on the tire internal surface as an air permeation preventive layer. At the same time, the rubber chafer 4 is arranged on the bead part 2 in a manner to wrap a bead core 3 from the tire internal side to the external side, and at the bead part 2, the film 1 and the rubber chafer 4 are partially superposed for this pneumatic tire. In the pneumatic tire, when the film 1 is taken as A and the tire internal part of the rubber chafer 4 is taken as B, the following relationship is satisfied. The equation is (10% modulus of A×thickness of A)>(10% modulus of B×thickness of B). Thus, regarding the film and the rubber chafer, the relationship between the 10% modulus and the thickness is specified, and therefore, manufacturing failures can be prevented from occurring, and at the same time, the bead part durability can be increased.
