Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a customer service system that provides a service for customers who bring purchased books and can measure customer attracting effects of books as numeral data. SOLUTION: A bookstore is equipped with an IC tag reader for reading in tag ID information stored in a noncontact IC tag of a book, and a first communication terminal for transmitting the tag ID information read in and store ID information to a server. A store is equipped with an IC tag reader for reading in tag ID information stored in a noncontact IC tag of a book, and a second communication terminal for transmitting the tag ID information read in and store ID information to the server and further receiving determination information on service provision from the server. The server comprises a database for registering sales information, verifying means for verifying whether corresponding sales information is registered in the database or not when receiving tag ID information from the second communication terminal, and verification result information transmitting means for transmitting verification result information to the second communication terminal.
