Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the possibility of exceeding the maximum and minimum limitations in a digital signal processing area since band expansion is realized by amplifying again low-pass and high-pass components to raise the components to an audible level, and amplification of components is directly reflected on amplitude amplification. SOLUTION: A band correcting device comprises one or a plurality of correcting means for correcting the signal level of a limited band of an input signal whose frequency band is limited, a monitoring means for for monitoring whether the signal level of an output signal of the correcting means reaches a prescribed level, and a coefficient control means for controlling a coefficient for level correction of the correcting means. Further, the band correcting device comprises a delaying means for adding delay identical to processing delay of the correcting means to a signal other than the limited area of the input signal whose frequency band is limited.
