Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glow plug power supply control device and a glow plug power supply control method for further accurately maintaining a temperature by further accurately setting a temperature of a resistance heating heater after starting an engine as a target temperature. SOLUTION: This glow plug power supply control device 101 has a post-starting glow means for controlling a temperature of a sheath heater 2 after starting the engine by PWM power supply. This means has a calculating means for calculating the duty ratio Da according to Da = Vc2/Vb2when imparting a control effective voltage value Vc as Vc = K0+ K1ΔR + K2∫ΔRdt by imparting an error ΔR as ΔR = Rt-R when a present resistance value of the sheath heater 2 is set to R, a resistance value is set to Rt when a heater temperature becomes the target temperature and impression voltage on a plug 1 is set to Vb.
