Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor panel structure for a vehicle body capable of reducing noise in a vehicle room. SOLUTION: The floor panel structure for the vehicle body comprises floor panels having an outer peripheral end connected to a plurality of frame members 34 (14, 21, 22, 26 and 28) arranged in longitudinal and cross directions of the vehicle body and connected to an engine 11 or suspensions 17, 27 to constitute a vehicle floor. Each floor panel S1, S2 and S3 has a joint portion joined at, at least, part of its outer peripheral end to the frame member, a low rigidity portion 33 formed along the whole length of the joint portion and a panel portion 40 formed inward from the low rigidity portion, covering the most area of the floor panel and formed as a high rigidity portion.
