Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid bleaching agent for textile fibers directly coatable on textile products such as garments and affording high bleaching effect. SOLUTION: The solid bleaching agent for textile fibers comprises (a) hydrogen peroxide, (b) an aliphatic carboxylic acid 30-100°C in melting point or a salt thereof, (c) a compound selected from glycerol, ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol and triethylene glycol, (d) a sequestering agent, and (e) water.
