Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device for a color selecting electrode for a color cathode tube capable of welding a work for electrode even to a frame member having a low rigidity stably with a high accuracy, easy for maintenance and low in cost. SOLUTION: The manufacturing device for the color selecting electrode for the color cathode tube includes a first controlling means to run parallel a first and a second welding electrode means 6 along welding passes 7 stretching in the first direction (X-direction) and a second controlling means to control the respective angles formed on the welding plane between the two welding electrode means and the first direction in accordance with the running positions of the two electrode means, wherein the second controlling means includes a driving means 13 to drive the first member 15 linearly and an angle changing means to rotate the second member 18 in +θ deg. in compliance with the displacement x of the first member and rotate a third member 19 in -θ deg.
