Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-assemble small lock type parking apparatus by dividing a mechanism for stopping the apparatus when a flap touches a car by erecting and a safety measure against an event that a foot is caught in the apparatus while the apparatus is lowering. SOLUTION: A spring deflected by a specified amount is installed between a flap drive shaft and a link fitted to the movable end of a cylinder, and the situation that the flap is erected and the car touches the flap is detected by that the spring is further deflected. The situation that the foot is caught is detected by that a play is provided between the drive shaft and the link or between the link and the cylinder and, when the drive shaft is stopped when the foot is caught, parts are allowed to move relative to each other in the play.
