PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner which has simple structure so as to be manufactured at a low cost, has superior deodorizing efficiency, and can be used for a long time because easily exchageable parts are used. SOLUTION: The cleaner body of the air cleaner is equipped with a gas suction/discharge machine to suck and discharge gas to the outside, a gas guide part connected to the gas suction/discharge machine to guide in malodor from the outside, a malodor treatment part to treat the malodor from the gas guide part. The malodor treatment part is composed of a plurality of ceramic charcoal particles dipped in liquid. The malodor from the gas guide part is passed through a partition between the gas guide part and the malodor treatment part to go into the malodor treatment part as bubble shape gas to stir the ceramic charcoal in a plurality of particles in liquid. The bubble shape gas is brought into contact with the particle shape ceramic charcoal to adsorb the malodor component to the ceramic charcoal.
