Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow-through assay method and a flow-through assay device operable extremely easily and executable more quickly. SOLUTION: This flow-through assay method is characterized by forming a coloring particle/first receptor/analytical object/second receptor composite on the sheet-shaped carrier surface by using the coloring particles with which the first receptor to the analytical object is coupled and the sheet-shaped carrier with which the second receptor to the analytical object is coupled, and detecting the composite.
