Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a new scanning image forming lens capable of excellently correcting the deviation of optical scanning length and the deviation of a light spot and being realized at a low cost. SOLUTION: In scanning image forming lenses 17-1 and 17-2 condensing respective color light beams of three primary colors: A, B and C deflected by a common light deflection means 14 and writing a color image on a photosensitive recording medium as a light spot on the recording medium, constant velocity characteristics to the respective color light beams are set as A (H), B (H) and C (H) to image height: H, which are different from each other because of lateral chromatic aberration, and the constant velocity characteristics are corrected to satisfy A(H)=KAB×B(H) and A(H)=KAC×C(H) substantially with KAB and KAC as constants when A (H) is set as reference.
