PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die molding machine which is of a simple structure and generates a sufficient mold clamping force in a force molding process. SOLUTION: This die molding machine comprises a split molding die 20 consisting of a pair of die halves 20a and 20b set, in a freely opening/closing manner, around a pivotal shaft 20c, a die retaining part 10 for retaining the molding die 20 in a freely advancing/receding manner, a die clamping device 40 for moving the molding die 20 supported by the die retaining part 10, to a mold clamping position and a mold opening position and a first wedge face 22 for clamping the die and removing its clamped state by moving the molding die 20 formed forward/backward through coming into contact with the die halves 20a and 20b.
