Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kind of asymmetric benzoxanthene dye useful as a fluorescent dye. SOLUTION: The asymmetric benzoxanthene dye compound has a structure shown in the following formula, [wherein Y1and Y2are each independently hydroxy, oxygen, iminium or amine, R1to R8are each independently hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, a lower alkyl, lower alkene, lower alkyne, sulfonate, amino, ammonium, amide, nitril, alkoxy, linking group or a combination of them and R9is acetylene, an alkane, alkene, cyano, substituted phenyl or a combination of them, and the substituted phenyl has a structure shown in the following formula (wherein X1is a carboxylic acid or a sulfonic acid, and X2and X5are each independently, hydrogen, chlorine, fluorine, chlorine or a lower alkyl, X3and X4are each independently hydrogen, chlorine, fluorine, a lower alkyl, carboxylic acid, sulfonic acid or linking group)].
