PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel for fishing equipped with inexpensive bearings, capable of preventing rusting, preventing foreign matter from getting into rolling elements and keeping a desired corrosion resistance over a long period. SOLUTION: This reel for fishing is equipped with a structure supporting a rotating member 2 through bearings 41 and 42 on a supporting member 1a (60A and 60B). These bearings 41 and 42 are composed of outer wheels 41b and 42b attached to the supporting member 1a, inner wheels 41a and 42a attached to the rotating member 2 and rotating integrally with the rotating member 2 and rolling elements 41c and 42c rotatably inserted between these inner wheels and these outer wheels. A corrosion-resistant treatment layer of chromium oxide is formed on the surface of at least one member among the inner wheels, the outer wheels and the rolling elements in the bearings 41 and 42, and seal members 62 and 64 for preventing the foreign matter from getting into the bearings are adjacently arranged on both sides of these bearings 41 and 42.
